NYP REVIVALIST!!

Look at the Title.
NYP Revivalists!!!
Thats a name i suggest for us, what do you guys think?

In NTU, they have a strong CHC ministry there, and their name is NTU Ministires.
So i thought it would be gd for us to have a name, to give us an identity.

NYP Ministiries sounds too formal an identity for us.
ON the other hand, NYP Revivalists sounds like Christians who are on fire, exhuberent, enthusiastic and fun,
Thats how i feel lar, haha..

Let me try to convince you with some definations, haha.

Revival - the process of restoring something old or what has been dead. (dictionary.com)
We are restoring God's Kindom in NYP. Restoring His will that none shall perish in NYP.

Revivalist - a person who brings forth revival

and TADA, NYP Revivalists!!



Btw, nothing is confirmed unless we get alot votes and unless mar and jo likes the name too.
This is not an official post like the past two.
So do tell me if you like or dislike that name.

Prayer Meeting!!

There will be a prayer meeting on Wednesday (tomorrow)
Meet 3.00pm at Bishan Mrt.
If not delayed, we will end the prayer meeting at 5.30pm.
I will make sure you guys will have more than enough time to reach your BS in time.
Btw, i will be preaching a short message on Unity in Revival.
You'll definitely be blessed by it. :D
So if you're coming please inform your leader or helper.

New NYP Grouping!!

Hey Guys, this is the new groupings.

Unless we have a better name given, for the moment we'll call our groups NYPGs. (Nanyang Polytechnic Groups)
You know, like our BBG (Business Breakthrough Groups) liddat.

If you noticed the people in the group are kept as close as those to the camp, coz we want you guys to follow up on the friends we have in the camp and also reach out more.
Hopefully this groupings will be permanent, but it will be still subject to change if any is needed, or if any group is not growing.

Please actively reach out and spend time with the friends, especially those in your group.
At least get their phone number and msn.
Leaders and helpers, i will sent to you an email with your group member hp numbers and email soon.
Most prob will give you their phone numbers by this week.

Btw, we have 3 purposes of our NYPGs. Hope you will embrace it with me.
1) Prayer - We will hold prayer walks and prayer meetings (Zech 4:6)
2) Fellowship - We will hold gatherings to strengthen our unity (1 John 3:16)
3) *Evangelism* - We will hold outings and fellowship time, most probably meet during lunch time too, to really practice Luke 10, to bless, fellowship, meet their needs then present the gospel. (Mt 28:19)

And our vision is : To see a great REVIVAL in NYP!!

Hey all! Irritating eugeneee is here!!

NYP camp was fun ya!! Anyways, you guys can get the pics(very little due to unforeseen circumstance) from http://www.asakuradark.multiply.com/ if your face happens to be there =)

Prior to the NYP camp, lets give ourselves a big hand for everyone in putting the time and effort in coming down for the camp and also inviting our friends!!

Revival is now! It's closer to us than our very breath! This is the moment that we all have been praying for!! Lets seize this moment and invite our friends to our own cell groups today!!

Enough with the formalites, I just want to thank every member for contributing to this camp to make it a fun one!

It will be in school at the studio next to the gym. Yong Zhi has yet to confirm with me whether it's gonna be evangelistic or not. I'll keep you guys updated!!
